TROUBLE CONNECTING?

Our web stream is very popular! - but only a finite number of listeners can tune in at one time. Fewer people can listen to the low-bandwidth stream at one time, so use the high-bandwidth if your connection allows you to.

If you have trouble connecting or you get bumped off, remember that you can always listen to Democracy Now at www.democracynow.org. Or if you can't listen live at the moment, check out our online archives - and try the live stream again after that.

We've had reports of trouble listening via Windows Media Player. If you're using Windows Media Player and having trouble connecting, here's some things to try:

• Make sure you're using the Windows Media Player links above;
• Click the 'play' button a second time, a couple of seconds after clicking it the first time;
• Under Tools->Options->Performance, click "buffer" to on, and move the slider up to 50 or higher;
• Or,you might try downloading the latest WinAmp - it's free and works really well with our streams.
